David started learning the piano at an early age, and in his 63 years he rarely stopped playing. Having a love of classical music and teaching young children led him to graduate from the University of Manchester with a degree in education, specialising in Music. David went on to have a successful career as a teacher and head-teacher. He taught abroad in both Germany and Singapore before returning to the UK in 1990. He dedicated many long hours learning his favourite pieces such as Bach, Beethoven, Mozart and many, many more. He enjoyed performing on the piano for many musical shows, as well as on the organ for the local church. He continued to encourage and inspire children with his love of music, and everyone who remembers him will always think of him being so absorbed in his music and piano playing. He and his talent will be truly missed.
